Privacy Policy
Your privacy is important to us. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you visit our website and use our watchlist services. Our primary goal is to provide a utility tool without compromising your personal data.
1. Information We Do Not Collect
We are committed to a "Privacy First" approach. As such:
- No Accounts: You are not required to create an account or log in to use our Service. The only place we ever ask for an email address is the feedback form, where it is optional (see Section 3).
- No Personal Data: We do not collect, store, or sell names, physical addresses, phone numbers, or financial account information. We do use analytics cookies, which are described in Section 4.
- No Wallet Connections: We do not require you to connect a cryptocurrency wallet to access or download our watchlists.
2. Automated Data Collection
Like most websites, our servers may automatically log standard information provided by your browser. This may include your IP address, browser type, referring pages, and the time and date of your visit. This data is used exclusively for security purposes, debugging, and analyzing aggregate site traffic to improve performance.
3. Feedback Submissions
If you choose to submit the form on our feedback page, we collect only what that form asks for:
- Category and message: the topic you select and the text you write.
- Email address (optional): used solely to reply to you about your submission. Leave it blank and we have no way to contact you. We do not add it to a mailing list, and we do not share or sell it.
- Country: a two-letter country code derived from your IP address by our hosting provider. We use it to understand where requests come from. We do not store your IP address alongside your submission.
Submissions are delivered to a private channel on Discord, where they are retained until they have been acted on. Submitting the form is entirely voluntary and is never required to download watchlists or use any other part of the Service.
4. Analytics and Cookies
We use PostHog, a third-party product analytics service, to understand how the Service is used: which watchlists get downloaded, which pages people visit, and whether features such as the feedback form actually work. Earlier versions of this policy said we might add basic analytics in the future. We have, and this section describes it.
When analytics is enabled, PostHog collects the following:
- A cookie and local storage entry: PostHog stores a randomly generated identifier on your device so it can tell that several page views came from the same browser. It is not your name, and we never link it to an email address you send us through the feedback form.
- Page views and interactions: the pages you open, and automatically captured interactions such as clicks on buttons and links.
- Watchlist activity: when a watchlist is copied or downloaded, together with the exchange and market type, so we know which lists are worth keeping up to date.
- Device and approximate location: your browser, your operating system, and a country-level location that PostHog derives from your IP address.
This data is pseudonymous rather than anonymous: the identifier does not name you, but it is persistent. We do not sell it, we do not use it for advertising, and we do not combine it with feedback submissions. Blocking cookies for this site, or using a browser or extension that blocks analytics requests, prevents the collection described above without affecting any other part of the Service.
5. Third-Party Services
Our Service interacts with and links to third-party platforms:
5.1 PostHog
PostHog provides the analytics described in Section 4 and is the only third party that receives data about your visit to this site. Their handling of that data is governed by their own Privacy Policy.
5.2 TradingView
Our watchlists are designed for use with TradingView. When you use their platform, you are subject to their specific Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
5.3 Cryptocurrency Exchanges
We provide links to various exchanges. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or the content of these external sites. We encourage you to review their policies before engaging with their services.
6. Data Security
While we do not collect personal information, we take reasonable technical measures to protect the integrity of our Service and prevent unauthorized access to our server environment.
7. Children’s Privacy
Our Service is not directed at individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
8. Changes to This Policy
We reserve the right to modify this Privacy Policy at any time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date. We recommend checking this page periodically to stay informed about how we protect your privacy.
9. Contact
If you have any questions regarding this Privacy Policy, you may contact us via our official social media channels or the contact methods provided on the website.
